पेशे से डाक्टर संजय सिंह भदौरिया बरेली के धनेटा-शीशगढ़ मार्ग से सटे आनंदपुर गांव में रहते थे. उन के पिता राजेंद्र सिंह गांव के संपन्न किसान थे. परिवार में मां और पिता के अलावा एक छोटा भाई हरिओम और एक बहन पूनम थी. पूनम का विवाह हो चुका था. संजय डाक्टरी की पढ़ाई करने के बाद 1999 में बरेली के एक अस्पताल में अपनी सेवाएं देने लगे. सन 2000 में नीलम से उन का विवाह हो गया. लेकिन काफी समय बाद भी उन्हें संतान सुख नहीं मिला. छोटे भाई हरिओम का विवाह बाद में हुआ. हरिओम के 3 बेटे हुए. संजय ने उन्हीं में से एक बेटे को गोद ले लिया था. कई अस्पतालों में अपनी सेवाएं देने के बाद डा. संजय ने अपना अस्पताल खोलने का निश्चय किया.
5 साल पहले उन्होने गौरीशंकर गौडि़या में किराए पर एक इमारत ले कर अस्पताल खोला. उन्होंने अस्पताल का नाम रखा ‘आनंद जीवन हौस्पिटल’. अस्पताल अच्छा चलने लगा. लेकिन घर से काफी दूर होने के कारण आनेजाने में दिक्कत होती थी. इसलिए डा. संजय कहीं घर के नजदीक अस्पताल खोलने पर विचार करने लगे. 6 महीने तक गौडि़या में अस्पताल चलाने के बाद संजय ने अपने गांव आनंदपुर से 2 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर विकसित गांव दुनका में एक इमारत किराए पर ले ली. इमारत दुनका गांव निवासी नत्थूलाल की थी, जिसे संजय ने 8 हजार रुपए मासिक किराए पर लिया था. संजय ने इमारत में बने हाल को 2 हिस्सों में बांट दिया.
